boutique stay

friendly staffrelaxing areaeasy accessquiet location
the staff were very friendly, always ready to help with directions. i found the shared guest area relaxing. parking cost £10, a bargain for the area, and it's a 15-minute walk to the town centre. i appreciated the easy access and quiet location.
the bedroom i stayed in was located in the back of the house, requiring a climb up a rather difficult and narrow staircase.

delicious breakfastwarm welcomecomfortable lobbytight parking
the breakfast was quite delicious with multiple choices offered.. the staff provided a very warm welcome and explained all services clearly. i especially enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable lobby, particularly with its inviting fireplace.
the parking situation was a bit tight, and getting sap or bird droppings on the car was a concern. paying extra to park on the road was also not ideal.

the room was equipped well and clean. it featured soft music, which enhanced the relaxing atmosphere. i appreciated these thoughtful details contributing to the overall experience.

The breakfast was good. The location is fine.
I found the superior double room tired looking. The bathroom needs a total refit and the shower leaked badly. The air con barely worked, and I did not sleep well despite the fan.
